The Contestant#31

Adriana sat on the bench in the backyard of the Airbnb her parents had rented. Looking up at the night sky, she watched the blue of the sky fade into swirls of pinks, reds, and oranges, as the sun made its descent from its place in the sky.
“Woo, what a day!” Adriana heard her father say from behind her.
Making his way across the backyard, Tyson headed over to the picnic table where Adriana sat. Straddling the bench, Tyson sat behind his daughter, allowing her to lean back into him as he wrapped his arms around her.
“Why do the best days always go by so fast?” Adriana asked, her eyes still trained on the horizon.
“No clue. Thank God for pictures and videos though, am I right?” He said, causing her to laugh.
Adriana was positive that she’d broken her personal record for the most pictures taken in a single night.
All night, everywhere she looked, her father and Alex were right there, snapping photo after photo.
“The family documentarian.” Corey said, hooking a thumb in their father’s direction as he snapped a photo of Vinny.
Alex’s head snapped back to look at Corey and Adriana.
“What did you say?! You talking shit Smiley?” Alex yelled over his shoulder.
Corey shook their head.
“Of course not!” Corey said, holding their hands up.
Alex squinted, eyes boring into Corey for a moment before Victoria called his attention back over to her and Katy.
“I think you should really be saying thank God for Alex.” Adriana said, causing both herself and Tyson to begin laughing.
Tyson and Adriana sat on the back patio for a little longer, staring up at the night sky, watching the waves crash into the sand. Then, the sound of the door of the patio sliding open caused the pair to turn around and look towards the house.
“I’m gonna head back to the house and crash.” Corey said, hooking their thumb behind them to the house next door.
After the competition ended Corey, Adriana, and their families found two Airbnb’s right next to one another. Complete with a private section of the beach, and connecting back yards, the houses were perfect; allowing Corey and Adriana to spend time with their families, while also enjoying a little privacy.
“Wait, I’m coming with you.” Adriana said, rising up from the couch.
Corey held out their hand, allowing her to take it, and together, the pair went back inside where they said goodbye to their parents as well as Vinny.
Then, making their way out the front door, the pair made their way to their house.
“I’m gonna miss it here.” Corey said as they and Adriana walked through the front door.
“Really? I kinda feel like I’m ready to go home.” Adriana said, as she kicked off her sandals.
“Wow, sick of me already?” Corey joked, as they climbed the stairs leading into the living room.
Adriana huffed as she grabbed ahold of their arm, spinning Corey around so that they were facing her.
“Yeah, you’re kind of a lot to deal with.” She said with a laugh.
Corey dramatically gasped as they clutched at their chest.
“ How could you be sick of me when you’ve spent this whole time with my grandfather. I’m starting to think your reconsidering your choice.” Corey said, crossing their arms over their chest.
Adriana opened her mouth and paused for a moment.
“You know, now that you mention it, Vinny is pretty cute.” She said, stroking her chin.
Corey gasped before tackling Adriana down onto the couch.
“Take that back!” They shouted as they poked her ribs.
Adriana let out a loud yelp, the sudden jab to her side causing her to jerk away from Corey.
“Corey no!” She shouted, but it was already too late.
Adriana fell off of Corey, causing the pair to roll off the couch. Luckily, Corey was able to catch themself before they came crashing down onto her, and after stabling themself, Corey began tickling her.
“Cornelius!” Adriana said again.
Swinging her arms out to the side, she attempted to knock Corey off balance, but their forearm was like a tree planted firmly into the earth. So, after a quick prayer that she wouldn’t get rug burnt too badly, she began shimmying her way off the carpet.
“What do you think you’re doing? We’ve already established that I’m faster than you.” Corey said with a laugh.
While Corey was busy laughing, Adriana managed to get the rug out from beneath her, allowing her to slide against the polished hardwood floors. With her feet planted firmly on the ground, she pushed off the floor as hard as she could, causing her to slide out from underneath Corey.
“Oh no, you’re not getting away that easily!” Corey laughed.
Hopping up onto their hands and feet, Corey bear crawled their way over to her. Then, when they were hovering over her, Corey lowered themself down onto her, wrapping their arms and limbs around her body.
“Oh God! No! You’re like some kind of night creature!” Adrianna half yelled, half laughed as Corey’s fingers began digging into her sides once more.
Howling she thrashed around beneath Corey, trying like hell to release herself from the death grip they had on her.
“No! Holy fuck! You never told me you used to be an MMA fighter!” She shouted, still trying to knock Corey’s legs loose.
“Nah, you just suck at wrestling.” Corey said with a laugh.
Adriana let out an offended gasp that faded into a loud yelp as Corey’s fingers quickened against her sides; poking at the softest, most ticklish parts of her.
Adriana yelped, tears beginning to run down her face, as Corey continued their assault on her sides.
“Corey seriously, I’m gonna piss my pants!” She yelled.
“Well good thing these are hardwood floors then!” Corey laughed wickedly.
Adriana let out a half scream, half laugh, causing Corey to laugh even more.
“You’re a monster! I want a redo of this whole competition!” Adriana yelled, but Corey paid her no mind.
Then, just when Adriana began to think that this was the end for her, she got an idea.
Twisting her body every which way, Adriana managed to get Corey’s legs to loosen, allowing her to turn so that she was facing them. Then, gripping the sides of Corey’s face, Adriana captured their lips with her own.
The kiss accomplished just what Adriana had hoped it would. She’d caught Corey so off guard that they now needed two hands to hold themself up.
Hovering over her, Corey groaned as Adriana kissed them long and deep.
For so long Corey and Adriana had been holding back, doing their best not to cross that line, and by some miracle, they’d managed to do it. But tonight, all of that was finally over; there was no more holding back.
And so, sliding her hands under Corey’s shirt, Adriana pulled it off, tossing it behind her as Corey reconnected their lips.
Giving into their deepest desires, the pair undressed one another, leaving a trail of clothes from the couch to the bedroom down the hall.
